The Vancouver Canucks took their time reaching this decision, but it seemed like where this team was headed for at least a few weeks. Finally, they fired GM Jim Benning and head coach Travis Green. Travis Green was replaced by veteran head coach Bruce Boudreau, while Stan Smyl steps in as the interim GM.

Edmonton Oilers superstar Connor McDavid was ejected from Sunday’s 5-1 defeat against the Los Angeles Kings.

BREAKING: The Flyers have fired head coach Alain Vigneault; Mike Yeo will step in as interim head coach.
